The Courtyard of Christ Light Ministry is a praise and prayer ministry with strong dedication to the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The calling of the ministry is to open the eyes of millions of people, thus turning them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith that is in Christ Jesus. (Act 26:28).
At the Courtyard of Christ Light Ministry, we preach the Lord Jesus Christ publicly through all channels thereby providing the testimony to all humans the need for repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus. Thus, we are commending people to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build them up, and to give them an inheritance among all that are sanctified by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Act 1:8; Act 20:21 and 32).
At Courtyard Christ Light Ministry, we hold firmly to Jesus words at John 3:3, 5-7 wherein the Lord Jesus said “verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the sprit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again”.
Thus, all members of CCLM must be ‘Born Again’ children of God. They must be baptized in water through a complete water immersion like Jesus in a flowing river (born of the water), and also receive the baptism of Holy Ghost by Jesus Christ which could be done through the laying of hands for the impartation of the Holy Spirit. A person who has undergone water immersion can also pray to God to be filled with the Holy Ghost (Luke 11: 13). This is a clear command from Jesus Christ. In this way all members of the CCLM enjoy the relationship of father to son with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost because the spirit of God dwells in them (John 11:12, Galatians 3:26; 1 John 4:4; Romans 8:14).
Member of CCLM are from various church denominations. They are not men adorers, but they adored God and the Lord Jesus and have sincere interest in giving God their total worship with referential fear and trembling.
Being born again children of God, CCLM members live the lives that befit the saints. This is possible because we are born of God. The word of God says: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for the seed of God remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9). The word of God further states: “Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”. -1 John 4:4. The Bible further states, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not” – 1 John 5:18.
In line with the above scriptures, all members of CCLM enjoy the leading of the Holy Spirit and thus are able to pursue holiness though obedience to the commandments of our Father, God and that of our Lord Jesus and sanctification through the precious blood of Jesus Christ which He shed on behalf of the whole world on the Cross of Calvary. In the Bible book of 1 John 3:23 and 24, we read “And this is His commandment that we should believe in the name of His son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandment dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us by the Spirit which he hath given us. – 1 John 3:23 and 24.
CCLM have no doctrine other than the doctrine of Christ and the one laid by the apostles in the Bible. We uphold the Bible as our authority and the constitution that form the basis of our worship.
We hold a firm belief in the divinity of the Holy Trinity in line with the scriptures, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” – 1 John 5:7.
Thus, we hold firmly to the heavenly arrangement of the three God head: God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost and the unity of these three so that they are one.
Furthermore we agree with the Scriptures that salvation depend on repentance on the basis of the shed blood of Jesus which involves the confession of the Lord Jesus and believing that he died for our sins and was raised up from the dead thereby obtaining an eternal redemption for us through the blood of his Cross. This will lead to water Baptism by complete immersion in a flowing river and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit either by impartation through the laying of hands or by the baptized individual asking the Father for the Holy Spirit. This is in line with 1 John 5:8: “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the Water and the Blood; and these three agree in one” – 1 John 5:8.
